Successful candidate will have responsibility for overseeing and coordinating the work for IT projects, and/ or for researching, enhancing, creating, planning, implementing, and assessing new and innovative Information Technology initiatives, policies, plans and goals. Must have managed many information technology projects from initiation to completion, including defining project requirements, establishing project plans, identifying necessary resources, planning, scheduling, and managing project deliverables, goals and milestones. Responsible to designs project scenarios, flow diagrams, use cases, application screen mock- ups, and other appropriate deliverables for project planning, testing, assessment and implementation. Project Manager Ensures software products and solutions are appropriately tested to meet functional and technical performance requirements. Assesses test cases, test scripts and defect reports and documents progress and results Responsibilities Includes: Guiding the team on how to use agile/ scrum practices and values while maintaining the Commonwealth culture and spirit Facilitating scrum meetings, including the daily standup, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective Helping the team to self- organize and self- direct Removing impediments or guiding the team to do so by finding the right personnel Working closely with the business analyst and product owner to organize and prioritize backlog Supporting the team through a servant leadership style Providing scrum master services to multiple teams concurrently Providing traditional project management support for some projects that may not be done using agile/ scrum Requirements Includes but not limited to: Must have previous .Net Development experience 2- 3 years of experience as a scrum master Prior experience working in an environment transitioning from traditional project management (waterfall methodology) to an agile environment (scrum) Prior experience working with multiple scrum teams on a single project is a plus 2- 5 years of project management experience a plus Experience working independently, as well as in a team- oriented collaborative environment Strong, clear communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem- solving capabilities Persuasive, adaptable, encouraging, and motivating An independent learner and self- starter An eye for detail but able to see the big picture Skills: The only way to do great work is to love what you do and do what you love!,
