Show More We offerYou will have regional responsibility for all service delivery and governance related to Payroll, Time & Attendance. In collaboration with Heads of Payroll in the other two regions you will ensure consistent Payroll, Time & Attendance delivery and an aligned employee experience globally. While directly reporting to the Global Lead for Payroll, Time & Attendance, you will be based in one of our three regional hubs and have close collaboration with the regional Leadership Team of the People Partnering organisation.Your first priority in this role will be ensuring a smooth implementation of Payroll processes, corresponding service delivery model and a landscape of external Payroll providers as we go live with Workday. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with the Regional Implementation Manager, the central project team driving the global roll-out, country HR colleagues as well as external payroll providers. You will furthermore build the regional Payroll, Time & Attendance team, securing the right capabilities and driving engagement of the team. Show More Key responsibilitiesConsistently drive and deliver high quality Payroll Services within the region to ensure great employee experience and regulatory compliance. Provide leadership to Payroll, Time & Attendance Delivery team in the region, creating and maintaining an environment where employees are highly engaged, proud of their work and have a strong sense of purpose. Ensure implementation of the new regional Payroll, Time & Attendance team structure in line with the agreed timescales and resource plan. Implement Global initiatives related to Payroll, Time & Attendance within the region in close collaboration with the Regional Head of People Partnering and Global Head of Payroll. Create business value across brands and functions by ensuring optimization of the regional Payroll delivery model and technologies, keeping localizations to a minimum in line with any legislative, economic or cultural necessities. Implement and adhere to the global governance structure to aid global reporting and compliance with internal control procedures. Ensure best-practice sharing with global colleagues and within the region to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of delivery and consistently improve the employee experience. Continually review regional Payroll, Time & Attendance capabilities and resource levels in line with business demand and as the new HR operating model and technology adoption both mature. Uphold the Maersk brand and values and business knowledge within the PPO team.
