Able to follow the prescribed format for patient handoff at end of shift/dutyOrder appropriate medication and other orders Obtain and document informed consent Perform preoperative work up Order appropriate referrals Order appropriate investigations Interpret laboratory & radiology results
Able to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation Perform pelvic examination and Pap smear
Performs nasogastric tube insertion Inserts urethral catheter Assist in surgical procedures* Perform D&C, MTP* Conduct low risk vaginal deliveries*
Able to identify the trigger factors and act appropriately Compliance to consent forms Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients Medication errors Incident reporting and ability to announce codes
