Your primary focus will be to design and develop applications for OSX which align with other client system functionality (i.e. Windows, Android & iOS). These applications will integrate with back- end web services and you will be working alongside other engineers on different layers of the infrastructure. You will need to have a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a track record of creating quality products.Responsibilities:Work closely with Product Management to capture customer requirementsDesign and build client applications for OSX which integration with HighQ servicesEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications meets expectationsIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality (e.g. SonarQube) and organisationCreate and maintain automated tests exercising application functionalityEnsure code is developed using secure coding methodologiesSkills:Proficient in Objective- C with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and minimum 4 years of hand on experience in Objective- CKnowledge of Swift will add an advantageSolid understanding of object- oriented programmingImplementation of automated testing platforms and unit testsFamiliarity with continuous integrationExperience with Cocoa APIs on OSXGood knowledge of performance limits and characteristicsKnowledge of memory management and multi- threadingExperience with embedded databases and other system datastore e.g. SQLiteFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back- end servicesGood sense of UI design and a user- oriented focusKnowledge of low- level C- based libraries is a plusProficiency in benchmarking and optimisationUnderstanding of Apple s design principles and interface guidelinesProficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git or SVN),
