Job Description

Sales and Marketing Solely responsible for the achievement of sales and operational targets as decided by the management. Preparing client proposals, quotations and annual rate contracts. Consult BSMs / BMs to obtain approvals and submit the quotations to clients on time. Responsible for increasing the client base and revenues in terms of Identification and development of new OEM, IPS, large govt. organisations and end users. Maintain pricing policy as per company s guideline. Ensure fast stock turn around ratio in consultation with management. Focus on liquidation of dead stock and coordinate with warehouse team for smooth transaction. Maintaining high level of customer satisfaction by providing right and effective solutions. Maintaining excellent rapport with the existing clients and ensure the repeat orders from the existing clients. Plan and execute the marketing & promotional activities to create brand and product awareness in the market through client meetings, technical seminars etc. Support the sub dealers and distributors to achieve their sales target by providing marketing support. Develop marketing material such as product presentations, broachers etc. Conduct market survey and present the analysed data to management further action. Payment follow up with clients for outstanding payments. Compliance on certified & non - certified training provided by the management and principal. Strategic Role Leading & managing entire sales team to achieve sales targets. Implementing strategy decisions in consultation with management to increase productivity. Formulates recommendations and provides feedback to management regarding sales policies and procedures. Provide various MIS data to management for strategic decision Ensuring efficient sales operations of the organisation within company s risk and compliance framework. Operational Role Cost analysis of sales team, including the preparation, monitoring and reporting of budgets in a timely manner. Defining A, B and C category of stock and provide data to planning and purchase team for better procurement pattern. Monitor Sales Action Plans and proactively support the staff to achieve the goals, identify clients need and offer right solutions and client retention. Ensure strong domain knowledge of products and services and maintain awareness of all promotions and marketing campaigns, communicating to team members in a responsive manner to ensure the effectiveness of campaigns and promotions. Keep close monitoring on all the expenses and ensure the profitability of the sales operations for maintaining profitability. Ensure the effectiveness of respective staff members by reviewing their performance, target achievements and activities on regular intervals and provide feedbacks to the management for any strategic decision. Ensure the right recruitment in Sales team and accountable for development of the resource. Daily activity reporting in term of lead generation and customer grievance / problems to the management. Payment follow up with clients for outstanding payments. Compliance on certified & non - certified training provided by the management and principal. Client Ownership Role Committed to provide a high standard of client service. Effective communication to client s enquiries, queries, increasing value to existing clients and prospective clients. Help to solve customers technical query. Ensure in time query resolution. With internal resource the query should be resolved within 1 day and with SKF it should be within 3 days. Ensure in time and satisfactory services should be delivered to existing clients. Educate the clients on application and product range. Maintaining high level of customer satisfaction by providing right and effective solutions. Maintaining excellent rapport with the existing clients and ensure incremental business growth from the existing clients. There should be at least 30% of growth year on year from existing clients. Mentoring & Coaching Ensure all the employees of sales team receive appropriate training and have the necessary product knowledge to perform their duties effectively. Ensure the recruitment of right candidate as per the job requirement within company s recruitment process. Increase the people productivity by motivating and empowering team. Ensure all employees are covered under training and development plan designed by the management in a year. Proper induction and orientation needs to be done for all new joinee. Ensure proper handholding and delegation of work in case of role change or role enrichment Develop the career path of all the employees at branch level and recommended high performer for higher responsibility or role change. Give feedback and design performance improvement plans for low performers,
