Job Description

    The company is a subsidiary of SPG a Dutch MNC based at The Netherlands. The company has had a successful track record in India for over four decades and continues to be a market and technology leader in the segments (Textile Rotary Printing Screens, Rotary Printing Machine, Engraving Chemicals) that it operates in. The company also produces Graphic products, Digital products and poised for growth in Graphic and Digital products.The company is listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange. The factory and the registered office are based out of Ahmedabad and they have presence across key markets in the country.
    • Description of the activities: Area Sales Manager (International Business)
    • Duties, powers, and responsibilities:
      • Co-ordinating all companies activities at the designated accounts for the product group in the assigned area.
      • Looking after customer relations
      • Realizing the most efficient way of approaching the customer
      • Building relationships with (potential) customers worldwide within special applications product portfolio
      • Issuing and following up on quotations
      • Closing order and collecting payments
      • Monitoring relevant market developments
      • Drafting, presenting, executing, and evaluating an annual sales plan for your region/accounts
      • Recording all relevant account information in the appropriate resources
      • Achieving the sales targets in accordance with the sales plan in terms of turnover, margin, and growth
      • Managing the relationships with your accounts
      • Identifying relevant market and customer developments
      • Generating new business leads and opportunities
      • Advising customers and prospects with technical knowledge
      • Managing agents and distributors
      • Market intelligence
    • Job requirements:
      • B. Tech. / Degree in Textile Engineering, MBA preferred from reputed govt. recognized University.
      • Extensive experience in an international Textile machinery marketing & sales environment
      • Knowledge of textile market and products as well as digital printing is a strong advantage.
      • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
      • Strong communication skills in English
      • Willingness to travel internationally.
      • At least 12 to 15 years experience in a dynamic product management or marketing role in textile industry.

      • Age 35 to 40 years
      • Languages Known English, Hindi, Gujarati
    • Salary CTC: Rs. 20 lac per annum. Higher CTC can be considered for deserving candidates.
    • No compete, Intellectual and industrial property rights and Confidentiality of information and Duty of confidentiality clauses are applicable while appointment.
