Job Description

Position Title: Senior Developer .Net & SQLDesignation: Senior DeveloperIndicative years of experience 4 - 7 yearsBusiness Unit: ITLocation: PuneRole Description:Develop, test and maintain applications with established processes while building holistic understanding of the underlying applications and domain.Reporting relationship:This role will report to Delivery Manager/Senior Delivery ManagerKey Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain technical designs based on requirements- Develop application code for programs while following coding standards. Develop and execute unit tests. Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project- Support application testing and resolve test defects. Report status updates as required by the project- Follow established project execution processes. Resolve queries/issues and provide Application/functional support to peers & juniors- Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying domain being supported. May have complete ownership and direct a system/function/process-Creating technical documentation around business requirements with clarity, completeness and specificity.-Understands and adheres to development methodology, standards and works on process improvement- Prior experience of handling Sev1/2 is preferred., Must HaveEducation: Graduate Bachelor s degree (any stream)Skills & Experience:

  • Strong technical skills (4-7 years of experience) in .Net, RESTful services and DBMS/SQL. Good Data Management concepts. Knowledge of SDLC / Agile methodology.
  • Migration of existing SSIS packages to asp.net core 3.1. Creating WebAPI routes to get and Post the data from SQL Server database. Includes handling upgrade of existing .Net core framework to higher versions.
  • Ability to resolve questions/issues related to the application as a Subject matter expert, ability to communicate with various stakeholders. - Engineering mindset
  • Problem solving, ability and willingness to learn; ability to grasp and work across technologies and disciplines.
  • Abilities like problem solving, analytical, time management & decision making, self-motivated
  • Good aptitude, positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills. Must be a good team player. Good analytical skills, research oriented.
Other:- Strong engineering mindset. Ability and willingness to work across various Cloud Architecture / SysOps / DevOps initiatives.
