Founded in 1989, Trellance is headquartered in Tampa, Fl, and serves more than 1,500 organizations throughout the United States.Summary:The Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role at Trellance Talent in delivering quality service in their support of financial institution management by utilizing database management systems, data analysis, predictive models, and dashboard visualizations. A deep understanding of financial concepts and financial institutions or credit unions is needed for success in creating dashboards, generating reports, and providing valuable data-driven recommendations to improve credit union. insights. Successfully use PowerBI or Tableau to create insightful dashboards, provide data-driven recommendations, and professional presentations.Key Responsibilities: Data Extraction and Cleaning: Extract and consolidate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs. Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.Data Analysis: Analyze credit union data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights. Perform statistical analysis to draw actionable insights. Develop predictive models to forecast growth, lending trends, and financial performance. Develop statistical models and algorithms to support growth predictions and lending strategies.Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau. Customize dashboards to meet the specific reporting needs of credit union management. Create and maintain interactive dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau to visualize data and KPIs.Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial, lending, and membership metrics. Present findings to credit union management in a clear and understandable manner.Strategic Recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations to improve credit union operations, including strategies for financial growth and membership engagement. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-informed decisions.Python Coding (Optional): Write and maintain Python code for data analysis, automation, and scripting tasks. Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Statistics, Finance, Business, or a related field. Data Analyst experience with a minimum of 3 years, preferably with experience in financial institution reporting creation. Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL) for data extraction and manipulation. Strong skills in data visualization tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau. Preferably advanced knowledge of banking and financial industry knowledge, including lending, risk management, and membership dynamics. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
