Job Description

    Oxit is a pioneering IoT and design service company seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to enhance our engineering team. This role is essential for client interfacing during technical reviews and discoveries, participating in client calls, leading project documentation efforts, and eventually undertaking hardware design tasks, including schematic capture and layout design utilizing Altium Designer. This position offers an incredible opportunity to work on leading-edge IoT projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities: Lead technical reviews and discoveries with clients to ensure a thorough understanding and incorporation of their requirements into our solutions. Generate and maintain detailed project documentation, such as technical specifications, design documents, and project plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery from concept to. completion. Contribute to hardware design efforts, particularly in schematic capture and layout design, using Altium Designer to deliver high-quality hardware solutions. Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to evaluate hardware designs and ensure performance, reliability, and compatibility. Select appropriate components and materials, considering factors such as cost, power consumption, and manufacturing requirements. Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in IoT, design services, and hardware design, applying this knowledge to our strategic and technical approaches.Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven 7 years of experience in hardware design and development for IoT devices or embedded systems. Strong foundation in IoT technologies, design principles, and project documentation, with a particular emphasis on hardware design including schematic capture and layout design. Must have hands-on experience with Altium Designer for hardware design tasks. Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, including microcontrollers, sensors, RF communication, and power management. Familiarity with industry standards and protocols relevant to IoT hardware development, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and LoRa. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.This will be an On-site opportunity in Ahmedabad, India,
