Job Description

    Job Title: Service Manager Plastic Processing & Packaging MachineryLocation: Ahmedabad No. of Positions: 1 CTC: 8 to 10 LPA (Negotiable for the right candidate) Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing (Plastic Processing & Packaging Machinery VFFS / HFFS) Experience: 10 to 12 Years Education: Graduate in any discipline (Engineering/Technical background preferred)Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Service Manager to lead and manage the service operations for our packaging machinery division. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plastic processing or packaging machinery (VFFS/HFFS) and the ability to handle service operations independently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage service operations across India from the Ahmedabad office
    • Supervise installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machinery at client sites
    • Ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical issues and customer complaints
    • Coordinate with sales, design, and production teams to deliver seamless after-sales support
    • Train and guide service engineers and technicians to enhance technical competencies
    • Maintain detailed service records and reports; analyze service data to improve performance
    • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and satisfaction
    • Plan and implement preventive maintenance strategies
    • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all service activities
    Required Qualifications & Skills:
    • Graduate in any discipline (Engineering background preferred)
    • 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in servicing plastic processing or packaging machinery (VFFS / HFFS)
    • Strong technical knowledge of converting/packaging equipment and systems
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
    • Proficient in handling service documentation, reports, and customer correspondence
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage field teams effectively
    • Willingness to travel across India for site visits and customer support
