Key Role & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Software for all NPI and sustenance projects for range of software products globally. Develop new functions and features as per latest versions. Diagnostic and maintenance including bug fixing. Lead Software development efforts and instill coding best practices. Support and Drive architectural decisions for Software Design. Drive and own Version management and traceability, ECO process for IP equipment. Co-Ordination of development with firmware software development team. Participate in software development and testing improvement. Uses Agile Scrum Methodology for software development. Develops unit tests for all new codes and adequately comments all codes. Ensure all code changes to pass through Peer Review. Essential Education, Experience & Skills: BE/ B.Tech Electrical or Computer Science with 5+ year experience in Software Development using latest version of C#, .Net Technologies for window applications using WinForm, WPF/ MVVM. Experience in windows based development, WPF/ MVVM, Data Access Layer. Hands-on MySQL or MS SQL and application development towards database. Hands-on Windows Form, XML, Multi-Threads, GDI+, client architecture and develop UI controls. Hands-on Object Oriented Analysis, Design Methodologies and Test Driven Development/ TDD. Strong analytic and problem solving skills for root cause determination and fixing issues. Ability to work closely across departments for diagnosing complex problems.
