Our clients key focus areas include Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) , Grid- tied power plants, Rooftop installations, and Off- grid installations. However the company also aims at entering new areas of energy sector that will enlighten and empower the energy sector in India. We have been retained to recruit an Sr. Executive - SCM / Asst. Manager - SCM for the plant near Ahmedabad. The ideal applicant would be a Diploma / B. E (Electrical) / B Tech in Electrical Engg with 8+ years of experience. Duties Vendor Development - Identifying and developing new suppliers/ contractors for existing/ upcoming solar projects Preparing techno- commercial comparative statement Rate Negotiation & Order finalization & timely material delivery Cost savings through annual rate contract with suppliers for A & B class items. For Switchyard and Solar DC Contactor/ AC contractor. Job Description Sending enquiry based upon BOM to suppliers and getting quote (MW scale) Making comparison and negotiation with suppliers before placing order (MW) Timely procurement of material for MW projects by placing order Contract negotiation & Preparation of Contracts with vendors / suppliers for switchyard / transmission lines/ bay extension & solar AC / DC work for MW Scale solar projects, in view of all legal, commercial & technical aspects. Follow up with the contractor for procurement of material, inspection of materials & dispatch clearance Keeping close monitoring and follow up with each and every vendor of material until it reach at site (MW) Imports and custom clearance of materials SMA inverters imports, custom clearance and dispatches to customers across India as trading activity, SVB registration done to save additional import duty Bill Booking of contractors and collecting documents like warranty certificate, test report, ABG & PBG.
