Job Description

  • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
  • Responsible for allocation and maintenance of stock.
  • Responsible for verification of bills according to stock
  • Ensure the proper entries/record of sales return and new products in the store or warehouse.
  • Coordinate regular inventory audits
  • To Make bills Challans
  • Keep updated inventory records
  • Co-ordinate with office site for dispatch of materials
  • To effectively handle multi-tasking operations in Stock
  • Ensure the physical verification of stock.
  • Maintaining the stock and coordinating with Management for the arrival of goods.
  • Organizes item orders by editing for price, promotions, weight compliance.
  • Arranges shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating delivery requirements; placing and expediting orders.
  • Responsible for shipping by examining items, destination, route, rate, delivery time; ordering carriers.
  • Ensure and verify items shipped by matching bills, reconciling quantities and noting discrepancies.
  • Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status; answering questions.
  • Replaces damaged items, shortages, and MIS shipments by determining optimal response of replacement or credit.
