Moller - Maersk we focus on the individual s development and the right candidate will have broad possibilities to further develop competencies in an environment characterized by change and continuous progress.Show More Key responsibilitiesAs a Lead Engineer with the Maersk Digital team, you will help build applications working on both front end and back end technologies using various programming languages and development tools for the end users to use for their business needs Your responsibilities will be to: Work with the stakeholders to understand business needs Must be well versed with different approaches to application architectures and should be able to architect an easy-to-deploy scalable solution Proficiency and hands on experience in Java Should have experience with tools like Maven, GIT, Jenkins Pipeline and Application Servers and Webservers like Tomcat, WebSphere. Possess good understand of RDBMS database like PostgreSQL/MySQL and should be able to write optimized SQL queries Possess good understanding of UX & UI principles and should be able to apply them while building solutions Should have good exposure to Cloud platform and patterns Azure/AWS) Partner with IT teams, DevOps teams, businesses and internal/external stakeholders as necessaryShow More We are looking forA total of 10 - 15 years of relevant experience out of which should have 2-3 years of team manging experience Engineering or a Masters in Computer Science or related field Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) Hands on experience in building Web User Interface (UI) using HTML/HTML5, CSS, SCSS, Advance Javascript Libraries, Jquery, Bootstrap and on UI frameworks like Node.js React, redux/angular.js/ backbone, Hapi.js. Experience with automated testing tools like, JUnit, Cucumber and Agile practices. Should have experience with Kafka, elastic search development Good Familiarity with Agile / Scrum practices; a good team player, balanced with the autonomy and motivation to produce individually Willingness to build on and experiment with cloud platforms, in addition to our own services Collaborative mindset across business functions Ability to collaborate across teams and individuals to accomplish common tasksShow More,
