Job Description

As an Accountant with 3 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in financial accounting, specifically focusing on the property and real estate sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Preparation and review of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for multiple properties.- Ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial statements, adhering to company accounting policies.- Collaborating with Finance Managers and Operations teams to ensure accurate monthly management accounts.- Analyzing financial results, providing detailed explanations for variances, and addressing queries to enhance business understanding.- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns for properties in compliance with local tax regulations.- Supporting the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund and a Spanish property.- Working closely with local teams to ensure accurate reflection of financial and operational aspects in the accounts.Qualifications required for this role include a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for experience in property or real estate accounting. Additionally, intermediate proficiency in reading and writing Spanish is essential, especially for the Spanish property.
