Job Description

As an Accounting Analyst at QAD, you will be reporting to the Global Shared Services Accounting Manager. The role will be based on a hybrid model, requiring you to work from the Mumbai office in Goregaon 2-3 days a week. Your responsibilities will include:- Strong analytical skills- Experience in various accounting processes such as Banking, Prepayments, Accruals, Leases Reviews- Driving continuous improvement in processes and the wider finance function while achieving your goals- Proficiency in system and automation tools like Excel, Smartsheet, and Google Suite- Managing multiple tasks with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in emails- Excellent attention-to-detail- Customer service mindsetIn this role, you will process transactions across multiple aspects of global accounting, including Fixed assets, Cash and Investments, Prepayments, Accruals, Leases, etc. You will be responsible for end-to-end process ownership, which involves data gathering, journals posting, reconciliation preparation, and liaison with stakeholders as required. It is essential to ensure that process documentation and notes are up to date and that service level agreements (SLAs) standards are met or exceeded.Additionally, you may be involved in issue resolution, contributing to global initiatives and projects, system administration, special projects, system implementations, reporting, analytics, and data migration from acquired companies. Qualifications required for this role:- Education/Licenses: Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or similar qualification preferred- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience, experience in a global shared service center for a multinational company preferred. Exposure to US GAAP will be advantageous- Computer skills: Knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools, experience in QAD ERP would be a plus.
