Job Description

    As a Customer Service and Loan Review Associate at Branch, you will play a crucial role in delivering world-class financial services to the mobile generation. You will be part of a mission-driven team that uses data science to reduce the cost of delivering financial services in emerging markets and believes in fair financial access for everyone, everywhere.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Customer Service:** Deliver efficient and friendly responses to customers across different channels.- **Credit Risk:** Evaluate loan applications for new borrowers, identify and prevent fraud.- **Servicing & Collections:** Proactively reach out to borrowers who have missed payments.- **Product:** Escalate customer feedback and IT bugs to help improve our product.- **Finance:** Manage refunds, repayments, and other payment processes.- **General:** Assist with various administrative projects as needed.**Qualifications:**- 1-2 years of previous job experience in customer service.- Passionate about Branchs mission and customers.- Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to take initiative.- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with good grammar, spelling, and punctuation.- Driven by data, highly analytical, with a good understanding of Excel preferred.- Good typing speed, ideally above 45 wpm.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.At Branch, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, driven by a team led by the founder and former CEO of Kiva.org.
