As a Senior Data Scientist in our team based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, you will lead a focused data science module aimed at delivering high-impact ML, Generative AI, and agentic AI solutions for enterprise use cases. Your responsibilities will include hands-on development of advanced analytics, NLP, and AI models while guiding the solution direction and maintaining technical quality. You will design and operationalize scalable data science solutions throughout the lifecycle, from problem framing to production deployment. Your expertise in Generative AI and agentic AI patterns will be crucial in accelerating analysis, automating workflows, and enhancing decision-making capabilities. Collaboration with business, product, and engineering stakeholders is essential to translate requirements into robust, measurable outcomes. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of standardized data science, MLOps, and responsible AI practices within the module. As a technical mentor and module lead, you will support junior data scientists through reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing.Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end development of machine learning, NLP, and GenAI solutions using Python, including EDA, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and optimization.- Design and implement GenAI-powered solutions (e.g., RAG pipelines, LLM-based classifiers, summarization, extraction) with strong validation and evaluation practices.- Build and orchestrate agentic AI workflows where agents plan, reason, and use tools/APIs to automate analytical or ML-driven tasks.- Develop and maintain production-ready ML pipelines on AWS (e.g., SageMaker and related services), following robust MLOps standards for deployment, monitoring, and retraining.- Own API-based and batch inference solutions, ensuring scalability, parallelization, and performance through systematic load and reliability testing.- Monitor model and GenAI solution performance, handle data/model drift, and drive continuous improvement through retraining and prompt/workflow optimization.- Partner with stakeholders to derive use cases, communicate insights clearly, and ensure adoption of AI solutions aligned with business goals.- Mentor and guide junior team members, de-risking delivery through code reviews, design feed, and enforcement of best practices across the module.Qualifications Required:- 6 to 8 years of experience in data science.- Proficiency in Pyspark, MLOps, and data science.Please note that the job reference number for this position is 13807.
