Director of Software Engineering, Core Lending

Role Overview:At LoanPro, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the lending landscape by providing a next-generation SaaS platform that empowers mid-market and large lenders to operate efficiently and effectively. As the Director of Engineering, Core Lending, you will lead engineering teams in designing, building, and scaling the core loan management and servicing platform. Your role is crucial in aligning engineering execution with business strategy and delivering reliable, scalable, and compliant solutions for the Loans domain.Key Responsibilities:- Define strategy, priorities, and execution plans for engineering teams working on the Loans product line.- Collaborate with product and design teams to set roadmaps and ensure product-market fit.- Hire, mentor, and grow engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers.- Ensure the Loans & core lending platforms are scalable, resilient, and extensible for future growth.- Drive initiatives to improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, developer productivity, and overall team effectiveness.Qualifications Required:- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and engineering managers.- Deep understanding of lending systems and modern cloud-based architectures.- Track record of driving large-scale product initiatives from concept to production.- Experience with risk and compliance in financial services, preferably lending/credit.- Ability to define and deliver on OKRs for engineering organizations.Benefit Of The Role:- 80% Medical/Dental coverage- PTO and Holiday Schedule- HSA and 401K Match- Wellness Rewards and EAPLoanPro offers a dynamic and innovative work environment where you can contribute to building the future of finance.
