Job Description

As an Automation & Agentic Systems Developer at Phenom, you will be responsible for leveraging AI technologies and automation frameworks to design and develop smart, scalable, and autonomous workflows. Your main tasks will include building intelligent agents that proactively assist users, automate complex processes, and unlock new efficiencies across our platform.Key Responsibilities:- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as ReactJS or Angular to build interactive UI components- Deep understanding of automation frameworks, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous programming- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data models and queries that meet application requirements- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions, making informed decisions on technologies and approaches- Optimize application performance by refactoring code, optimizing queries, and enhancing API response times- Integrate third-party services and APIs into the existing architecture for seamless interaction between systems- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability and robustness- Implement and maintain security best practices in APIs and backend services for authentication, authorization, and data protection- Design and implement robust backend systems using Java, Python, or Node to build, orchestrate, and manage intelligent automation workflowsQualifications Required:- 2 years of experience in backend and full-stack product development focusing on Automation and agentic use cases like n8n- Proven track record in building scalable automation solutions or intelligent agents- Passion for innovation at the intersection of AI and software engineering- Utilize AI-powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Tabnine to enhance productivity and code quality- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams- Experience with asynchronous programming, Docker, and containerization for deployment- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, data mapping, and transformationEducation:- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related fieldThis job at Phenom offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies and automation frameworks to build innovative solutions that enhance hiring and talent management experiences for enterprises globally.
