Job Description

    As the Head of Modelling for Global Market Research, your role will involve a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure the quality, governance, training, enablement, innovation, problem-solving, talent development, and hands-on support for critical projects within the modelling stage of our MM solution delivery. - Quality Management: You will design and implement quality management processes and systems specifically tailored for the modelling stage of our MM solution delivery.- Governance: Take ownership of the governance for all modelling stages, ensuring adherence to frameworks, measuring and assuring quality, expediting decision-making, and maintaining thorough documentation.- Training: Engage closely with Product, AI, and Client Servicing teams to facilitate knowledge acquisition and transfer, enabling a deeper understanding of modelling outputs for effective product usage.- Enablement: Collaborate with various teams to ensure Client Servicing understands and effectively uses the modelling outputs. Address questions related to model validity and quality.- Influence innovation in methodology, product, and process to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.- Problem Solving: Utilize your expertise to address ambiguous situations or bottlenecks, maintaining a balance between mathematical rigour and business requirements.- Talent Development: Coach, hire, and develop modelling talent within the Centre of Excellence, owning knowledge creation, training team members, and cascading learning across the team.- Learning and Development: Develop an understanding of various modelling approaches, create supporting materials for CoE, and design training and assessment programs. Continuously update programs with new learnings.- Hands-on support on critical projects: Dedicate 80% of your time to design and governance and 20% to supporting critical/high-risk projects hands-on.Desired Skills, Experience, and Behaviours:- Minimum 15 years in Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) with a strong understanding of Bayesian Modelling, including 5 years in a leadership role.- Proven experience in managing complex projects, leading globally diversified teams, and delivering outcomes to clients.- Hands-on expertise in executing market mix modelling projects, interpreting model outputs, and understanding different industries.- Deep knowledge of market mix modelling data, time series, Bayesian methods, model governance, quality assurance, and reproducible workflows.- Ability to translate complex models into clear business narratives and conduct training sessions and workshops.- Willingness to travel regularly to various markets on short notice and work across business units with influence.- Bonus: Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.- MBA is mandatory.
