Job Description

As an Institutional Investment Operations Manager at The Wells Fargo Foundation in Bangalore, you will be taking on a senior management position with direct oversight over the Tax Ops within CIB. Your role will involve leading the Tax Form Validations team, providing validation processes on Tax Form (W8/W9), updating client account details, and handling federal reporting and withholding requirements. You will play a key role in navigating the complexities of capital market products and regulatory environments, ensuring effective transparency and partnership with global counterparts.**Key Responsibilities:**- Handling tax documentation, withholding, and reporting inquiries- Daily TEFRA, NRA and FATCA withholding reconciliation and remittance- Research and resolution of reporting and withholding exceptions- Cost Basis reconciliation and resolution- Managing multiple teams to ensure successful service delivery- Proactively identifying process and knowledge gaps- Working closely with delivery teams on process improvements and regulatory compliance- Providing leadership on data quality and client service enhancement- Partnering with upstream processing teams to mitigate operational risk**Qualifications Required:**- MBA or an advanced degree (or equivalent exp.)- 14 years with a top-tier bank, including 7 yrs. in a supervisory role- Robust interpersonal and influencing skills- Strong organizational and project management skills- Experience working across multiple geographic territories or regions- Project management skills with a focus on process improvement- Excellent presentation and communication skills- Experience working with senior leaders in Technology, Operations, and StrategyAs part of the Wells Fargo team, you will contribute to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
