As a Senior AI Technical Leader at Allegion, you will be instrumental in creating peace of mind by pioneering safety and security for people worldwide. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities:**Leadership & People Development:**- Mentor and guide Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and AI Engineers in a senior-level role- Build collaborative environments and foster talent development- Design technical solutions and establish project plans- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders**Technical Leadership:**- Utilize 7 years of progressive experience in AI/ML, data science, or full stack development- Lead teams in delivering end-to-end applications- Hands-on experience in generative AI technologies**Required Technical Skills:**- Expert-level Python for data science and web development- Strong React and modern JavaScript skills- Proficiency in RESTful API development, web services, and SQL programming- Experience with Docker containerization, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and CI/CD pipelines- Knowledge of Big Data technologies and AI/ML deployment**Data Science & Analytics Skills:**- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling- Proficiency in data science libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch- Design business experiments and conduct hypothesis testing- Data visualization skills, preferably with Power BI**Major Responsibilities:**- Lead and mentor Data Scientists and AI Engineers- Define technical roadmaps for AI initiatives- Oversee end-to-end AI application development- Collaborate with global teams and business stakeholders- Stay current with AI technologies and guide experimentation with new technologies**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM fieldAt Allegion, diversity and inclusion are core values.
