Role Overview:As a Lead Data Scientist at Faclon Labs in Mumbai, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end data science projects, from scoping to deployment. Your main focus will be on ensuring accuracy, reliability, and measurable business impact. You will translate business needs into actionable data science tasks, lead data wrangling, feature engineering, and model optimization. Additionally, you will communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders to guide decisions while mentoring a 14 member data science team. Your role will also involve implementing scalable MLOps, automated pipelines, and reusable frameworks to accelerate delivery and experimentation.Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end data science projects, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and measurable business impact- Translate business needs into actionable data science tasks- Lead data wrangling, feature engineering, and model optimization- Communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders- Mentor a 14 member data science team- Implement scalable MLOps, automated pipelines, and reusable frameworksQualifications Required:- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Data Science/ML- Strong foundations in statistics, Linear Algebra, and optimization- Proficiency in Python (NumbPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost) and experienced with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)- Skilled in building data pipelines (Airflow, Spark) and deploying models using Docker, FastAPI, etc- Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences- Bachelors degree from any fieldAbout the Company:Faclon Labs is a high-growth, deep-tech startup based in Mumbai.
