Job Description

As a Loan Operations Manager, your role will involve overseeing end-to-end loan operations to ensure efficient processing, disbursement, servicing, and closure of loan accounts. Your expertise in lending operations, process management, compliance, customer service, and team leadership within Banking, NBFC, or FinTech environments will be crucial for success.Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end loan operations including application processing, verification, underwriting coordination, disbursement, servicing, and loan closure- Ensure adherence to operational policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal controls- Monitor loan processing timelines and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure operational efficiency- Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Compliance, Collections, and Customer Support teams- Oversee loan documentation, verification, and record management processes- Manage loan disbursement and repayment operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues in a timely manner- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review- Ensure compliance with guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India and other regulatory authorities- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews- Lead, train, and mentor operations teams to achieve business objectivesQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field- MBA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred- 5 years of experience in Loan Operations, Lending Operations, Banking Operations, NBFC Operations, or Financial Services- Strong understanding of loan products such as Personal Loans, Business Loans, MSME Loans, Consumer Finance, and Secured Lending- Experience in loan documentation, disbursement, servicing, collections support, and customer onboarding- Knowledge of KYC, CKYC, AML, and lending compliance requirements- Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS)- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational management skills- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and operational dashboardsPreferred Qualifications:- Experience working in Banks, NBFCs, FinTech companies, or Digital Lending Platforms- Knowledge of digital lending workflows and automated loan processing systems- Experience managing high-volume loan operations- Understanding of risk management, fraud prevention, and audit controls- Exposure to co-lending, embedded finance, and digital lending ecosystemsWhat We Offer:- Competitive Salary and Performance Incentives- Career Growth and Leadership Opportunities- Exposure to Banking, NBFC, and FinTech Ecosystems- Learning and Development Programs- Collaborative Work Environment- Health Insurance and Employee BenefitsNote: This job requires you to work in person at the Mumbai location on a full-time basis.
