Role Overview:As the Manager of Data Science at NoBroker.com and ConvoZen.AI, you will play a crucial player-coach role focusing on cutting-edge LLM development, speech intelligence, and team leadership. Your responsibility will include leading applied research and development efforts in text and voice AI, setting high benchmarks for model performance, and innovating novel techniques for voice-enabled agentic systems.Key Responsibilities:- Direct and manage a team of data scientists and speech engineers, providing leadership and mentorship.- Drive core research in Direct Speech-to-Speech architectures, advanced STT, and highly natural TTS in Speech & Audio R&D.- Oversee projects related to exploring, prototyping, and implementing advanced techniques in LLMs for GenAI & Agentic Workflows.- Design, build, and maintain a robust evaluation framework for model performance in Evaluation & Benchmarking.- Develop the strategy for the multimodal stack in Model Stack Strategy.- Act as a core technical consultant to the Product team in Cross-Functional Partnership.- Stay updated with the latest academic research in the field to ensure research alignment.Qualifications:- Education in Computer Science, AI, NLP, Speech Processing, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field at the Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. level.- 8 years of industry experience in data science, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in NLP, Speech/Audio Processing, and Machine Learning.- Deep understanding of STT pipelines, modern TTS architectures, and expertise in Speech & Audio Stack.- Proficiency in modern LLM stack, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, and agentic frameworks for Generative AI Stack.- Expert-level skills in Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and vector databases.
