Job Description

    As an Operations Analyst in the Reconciliation team, you will be responsible for independently managing operational workflows, analyzing data, resolving discrepancies, and preparing accurate reports for stakeholders. Your key role will involve driving reconciliation processes, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and maintaining operational records. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that every transaction, settlement, and payout adds up accurately.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage and enhance end-to-end operational and reconciliation processes independently within defined timelines.- Utilize SQL (PostgreSQL) and advanced Excel for data extraction, analysis, reconciliation, and MIS reporting.- Conduct transaction, settlement, payout, and ledger reconciliations; perform root cause analysis and coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.- Prepare operational dashboards, trackers, and reports for management review; ensure audit-ready and accurate reconciliation records.- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency; support automation activities with basic Python scripting.- Utilize GitHub and Bitbucket for basic repository and version handling; maintain documentation and version control for operational scripts and processes.**A day in the life:**Your day will typically start with reviewing reconciliation queues, identifying mismatches, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. You will be involved in writing SQL queries, updating dashboards, preparing MIS reports, and driving process improvements. Your work will vary from deep data analysis to supporting audits, ensuring that the numbers always reflect the correct story.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Experience in SQL Server/MySQL or Postgres with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Intermediate level proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, charts, data cleansing, and array formulas.- Experience in operations, financial services, payments, e-commerce, or related fields.- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and source control (Git) for scripting and automation.- Experience in investigations, payments, security, or banking, along with project management skills.If you thrive in an environment where curiosity is valued over hierarchy, solutions are preferred over excuses, and precision is prioritized over speed, then you will find a perfect fit in our team dedicated to building trust through meticulous reconciliation processes.
