Operations Analyst, Reconciliation

Job Description

As an Operations Analyst in the Reconciliation team, you will be responsible for independently managing operational workflows, analyzing data, resolving discrepancies, and preparing accurate reports for stakeholders. Your key role will involve driving reconciliation processes, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and maintaining operational records. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that every transaction, settlement, and payout adds up accurately.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage and enhance end-to-end operational and reconciliation processes independently within defined timelines.- Utilize SQL (PostgreSQL) and advanced Excel for data extraction, analysis, reconciliation, and MIS reporting.- Conduct transaction, settlement, payout, and ledger reconciliations; perform root cause analysis and coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.- Prepare operational dashboards, trackers, and reports for management review; ensure audit-ready and accurate reconciliation records.- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency; support automation activities with basic Python scripting.- Utilize GitHub and Bitbucket for basic repository and version handling; maintain documentation and version control for operational scripts and processes.**A day in the life:**Your day will typically start with reviewing reconciliation queues, identifying mismatches, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. You will be involved in writing SQL queries, updating dashboards, preparing MIS reports, and driving process improvements.
