Job Description

    As a Product Data Scientist at Google Play, your role involves providing quantitative support, market understanding, and a strategic perspective to partners throughout the organization. You will be using your data expertise to help partners make informed decisions by weaving stories with meaningful insights. Your responsibilities will include:- Own the full data science lifecycle, including problem definition, data extraction, statistical modeling, and executive presentation with resolving product tests.- Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests and multivariate experiments to validate product hypotheses and measure user impact.- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as user engagement and ecosystem health to measure product health.- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Engineers, and User Experience Researchers to translate raw data into insights and recommendations.- Apply advanced statistical techniques like regression, time-series forecasting, and causal modeling to identify growth opportunities and predict the impact of future features.In order to qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience with analysis applications and coding, or 2 years of work experience with a Masters degree.
