Job Description

Role Overview:As a Senior AI Engineer specializing in Data Science & Generative AI, your mission will be to build and operationalize intelligent AI systems. Your role will involve merging deep data science knowledge with engineering precision to deliver scalable Gen AI solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Design and construct complete Gen AI and ML pipelines, starting from data exploration to deployment in production- Develop agentic AI systems such as RAG, tool orchestration, and planning/execution flows- Create retrieval services, embedding pipelines, and model-routing infrastructure- Train, fine-tune, and assess LLMs and ML models, and establish monitoring and cost-control frameworks- Translate data science research findings into resilient, production-ready services- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams, and contribute to AI architecture decisionsQualifications Required:- Possess 5 years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or AI development- Proficient in Python with a strong foundation in software engineering practices- Hands-on expertise in Gen AI technologies like LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and agents- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explore, comprehend, and interpret complex datasets to choose the appropriate approach (statistical, ML, or AI-based)- Sound knowledge of classical data science methods including statistical modeling, feature engineering, and hypothesis testing, and understanding when to avoid using LLMs- Experience in deploying ML/AI systems in production utilizing APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks and model observabilityNice to Have Skills:- Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS- Experience in LLM fine-tuning or RLHF- Exposure to Databricks or large-scale data platforms- Knowledge of agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen- Understanding of async/streaming architecturesAdditional Company Details:The company is located in Bangalore, India.Who You Are:You are characterized as curious and meticulous, thinking in terms of experiments while focusing on building for production.
