Job Description

As a Senior IT Operations Manager (ITOM) Trainer, your role will involve overseeing IT operations, monitoring systems performance, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, and driving efficiency through automation and best practices. You should bring strong knowledge of ITSM/ITOM platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC, and SolarWinds, as well as experience in cloud infrastructure operations and IT governance standards. Your responsibilities will include:- Oversaw IT infrastructure operations, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.- Managed incident, problem, change, and event management processes in alignment with ITIL frameworks.- Utilized ITOM platforms (ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and Orchestration) to monitor and optimize performance.- Ensured system availability, capacity planning, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity.- Developed and implemented operational dashboards, KPIs, and compliance reports.- Automated recurring operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.- Collaborated with security, applications, and business teams to ensure resilient IT services.- Conducted root cause analysis for critical incidents and implemented corrective actions.- Trained and mentored graduate trainees and junior staff on ITOM practices, tools, and governance.- Drove continual improvement initiatives within IT operations to align with organizational strategy.Your experience of 10 years in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, service availability, and operational excellence will be valuable in this role.
