Senior Logistics Operations Manager - E-commerce

Job Description

As a Senior Logistics Operations Manager at our clients company in Mumbai, Maharashtra, IN, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and overseeing extensive logistics and warehousing operations, with a particular focus on e-commerce fulfillment. Your deep understanding of warehouse management systems, transportation management, and supply chain analytics will be key in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods through the supply chain.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple warehouses, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.- Develop and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve order fulfillment accuracy and speed.- Oversee inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure SLAs are met.- Implement and optimize the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics technologies.- Develop and monitor KPIs for logistics operations, providing regular reports to senior management.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards within warehouse facilities.- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors and associates.- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives throughout the supply chain.- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and e-commerce fulfillment.**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
