Job Description

Role Overview:As the Delivery Partner for a cross-functional team of Data Scientists and Engineers, your primary responsibility will be to manage the team effectively and ensure smooth client engagement by removing technical or organizational blockers. You will also play a key role in leading the design and integration of scalable Data Engineering pipelines with advanced Machine Learning models. Additionally, you will contribute hands-on to the codebase by developing core Python modules and translate business objectives into a technical product backlog. Your role will involve conducting code reviews, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring quality governance in both Data Science and Data Engineering domains.Key Responsibilities:- Manage a cross-functional team of Data Scientists and Engineers, owning client engagement and proactively removing technical or organizational blockers.- Lead the design and integration of scalable Data Engineering pipelines with advanced Machine Learning models.- Contribute directly to the codebase by developing core Python modules and debugging critical issues.- Translate ambiguous business objectives into a technical product backlog and manage expectations with executive leadership.- Conduct high-level code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level staff on best practices in software engineering and statistical modeling.Qualifications:- 10 years of experience in the data space, with at least 3 years in a formal or informal leadership/management capacity.- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end data products from raw ingestion to productionized ML insights.- Ability to switch contexts rapidly between managing people and processes.
