Job Description

    Role Overview:As the leading bank in Asia, DBS Consumer Banking Group is dedicated to helping customers realize their dreams and aspirations. As part of the consumer banking business, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all operational functions of the branch with zero errors. Your role will involve ensuring high-quality service, coordinating with centralized operations teams, and participating in process improvement exercises within the branch. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for productivity enhancement and cost reduction initiatives. Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering exceptional financial solutions tailored to customer needs at every life stage.Key Responsibilities:- Manage & control all operational functions of the branch with zero errors.- Coordinate with centralized operations teams to maintain high-quality service and customer satisfaction.- Ensure timely receipt and submission of regulatory and other reports by the Branch.- Participate in process improvement exercises within branch/cluster.- Identify and introduce productivity enhancement and cost reduction initiatives.- Initiate and conduct team meetings internally within Ops and with business teams, circulating minutes to stakeholders regularly.- Fulfill any other job duties and responsibilities assigned by the branch Head as needed.Qualifications Required:- Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in General Branch Banking Operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.- Graduation degree in any discipline; additional qualifications in Banking/ Finance / Law or MBA would be advantageous.- Knowledge of branch banking and Operations, regulatory compliance, and good understanding of compliance aspects.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer relation building and coordination with RMs & Centralized operations.- Leadership and management skills.- Proficiency in computer systems and various software packages for delivering banking products and services.- Analytical skills.(Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.)
