Job Description

As a Software Engineering Program Manager at Aeva, you will be responsible for leading complex, technical development efforts across software and test to ensure the delivery of high-quality products on time. Your role will involve coordinating software release and delivery activities, managing test execution for software, systems, and manufacturing, as well as identifying and prioritizing project tasks and risks. You will play a key role in driving closure on technical issues and development roadblocks to meet top-level requirements and ensure timely project delivery. Effective communication of program risks and status to key stakeholders will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams to drive software development, test, and release activities- Manage test execution for software, systems, and manufacturing processes- Coordinate test deliverables to ensure compliance with automotive standards- Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks to drive project success- Drive resolution of technical issues and development roadblocks to meet project requirements and timelines- Regularly communicate program risks and status updates to key stakeholders- Utilize your 8 years of experience in coordinating QA, test automation, V&V, and KPI testing- Define scope and prioritize work to meet release schedules effectively- Utilize SW project management tools such as JAMA, JIRA, spreadsheets, Smartsheets, and Confluence- Apply Agile project management principles to drive project success- Lead efficient technical design requirements, status, and review meetings with strong facilitation skills- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills- Experience shipping complex projects within tight timelines- Knowledge of automotive processes and standards like ASPICE, FuSa, and Cybersecurity is preferred- Experience with scripting/automation is a plus, though not requiredQualifications Required:- 8 years of experience coordinating QA, Test automation, V&V, and KPI testing- Experience with SW project management tools and Agile principles- Strong facilitation skills for leading technical design requirements and review meetings- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Knowledge of automotive processes and standards like ASPICE, FuSa, and Cybersecurity (preferred)- Experience with scripting/automation is preferred, but not required As a Software Engineering Program Manager at Aeva, you will be responsible for leading complex, technical development efforts across software and test to ensure the delivery of high-quality products on time.
