Role Overview:You will be a Senior Software Developer Specialist at Nasdaq Technologys Mumbai technology center, focusing on developing and supporting real-time mission critical applications for Nasdaqs internal markets. As part of a cross-functional team, you will deliver critical data and software solutions for financial markets globally. This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative solutions and progress within the team.Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to software and infrastructural enhancements of covered applications- Provide monitoring, answer support calls, and resolve production issues during US night hours- Facilitate collaboration between software development and IT operations teams- Develop microservices, RESTful API, and browser-based user interfaces- Utilize automation tools, cloud services, and system administration techniques- Work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countriesQualifications Required:- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Software Development engineer- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, HTML, React JS, SQL, and Java- Experience with Spring, Spring boot, Kafka, RESTful web-services, Microservices, and relational databases- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities- Good communication and collaboration skills- Passion for learning new technologies and industry trends- Creativity in creating solutions that deliver value to the business- Attention to detail and quality assurance- Adaptability to a dynamic environment- Genuine interest in the financial industry- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experienceAdditional Details:Nasdaq Technology is continuously revolutionizing markets by adopting new technologies to develop innovative solutions.
