Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Operations Manager at Bank of America, you will be responsible for overseeing the client delivery, regulatory requirements, and auditors for the Mumbai Branch. You will collaborate with Technology for innovation initiatives and work closely with key business partners such as Heads of GTS sales and Product, Senior Corporate Bankers, Country Compliance, and Audit. Your role will involve advocating and coordinating end-to-end business processes, executing trade and payment activities for Corporate, Financial, and Commercial Banking clients, and managing a diverse team.Key Responsibilities:- Manage Branch Payments or Trade processing, Regulatory Reporting, Tax Reporting, and Financial Reconciliation- Oversee CMS, Clearing, New Account, and Deposit activities- Ensure accurate processing of transactions as per bank and regulatory guidelines- Contribute to Business Continuity Planning for the Central Processing Unit- Support system enhancement projects by participating in BRD preparation, User Acceptance testing, and Implementation- Lead with a global perspective and articulate Enterprise Vision- Act as a key contact for Clients, Regulators, and Business Partners- Establish a culture of continuous Process Improvement- Integrate new capabilities that align with Regional and Global objectives- Translate data into key business metrics for decision-making- Build a culture and process to identify, mitigate, and control Operational Risk- Develop and execute effective Business Continuity and Event management processes- Drive satisfactory audits, reviews, and exams (internal and regulator driven)- Ensure proper communication and compliance with regulatory requirementsQualifications Required:- Post-Graduate with a minimum of 10 years experience- Experience in handling Trade, Payments, CMS, Clearing, Cash, or Card Settlement Operations with a private/foreign bank- Strong written and oral communication skills- Ability to manage volumes, multi-task with accuracy against deadlines- Team Management skills- Excellent Customer Service and Inter-personal skills- Proven experience in leadership, decision-making, coaching, and workflow managementNote: The job description also includes additional details about Bank of America and its global presence, but for the purpose of this job description, these details have been omitted.
