Job Description

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will be an integral part of an agile team focused on designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products. Your role will involve developing scalable and robust full-stack applications using .NET and Python, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements, and continuously enhancing development processes to drive innovation.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust full-stack applications using .NET and Python.- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure application quality and performance.- Enhance development processes and tools to improve productivity and efficiency.- Implement cloud-based solutions on Azure and/or AWS for high availability, scalability, and security.- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on innovative problem-solving.- Ensure the creation of secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms in sync with systems.- Proactively identify hidden problems in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.**Qualifications Required:**- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2 years of applied experience.- Proven expertise as a Full Stack Developer with proficiency in .NET and Python.- Strong coding skills in .Net Core, web frameworks, C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ, and Python.- Experience in configuring IIS web servers, building microservices, Kafka integrations, and winforms.- Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms - Azure and/or AWS.- Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Exposure to AI/ML technologies and DevOps practices.- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.- Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.Please note that this position is categorized as Mid Level in terms of experience level.
