Job Description

Role Overview:As a software engineer at Google, you will be part of a team that develops next-generation technologies to revolutionize how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and each other. The role requires versatility, leadership qualities, and an eagerness to tackle new challenges across the full-stack.Key Responsibilities:- Write product or system development code.- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices such as style guidelines, code accuracy, testability, and efficiency.- Contribute to existing documentation and educational content, adapting it based on product/program updates and user feedback.- Triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to make decisions on available technologies.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.- 2 years of experience with Android application development.- Experience with Software Engineering, Mobile App Development, Kotlin, Java.Additional Details:The Platforms and Ecosystems product area at Google focuses on various computing software platforms across different environments such as desktop, mobile, and applications.
