As a Software Engineering Lead at Quantum, you will be responsible for guiding a team of 3-5 full-stack engineers with 3-7 years of experience. Your role will involve hands-on leadership, leveraging your 8-12 years of industry experience and 3 years of team management to design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions supporting Quantums AI initiatives.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 full-stack engineers, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to best practices.- Actively contribute to the codebase across frontend and backend components.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders.- Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable full-stack applications.- Ensure best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.- Drive technical innovation and adopt modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies.- Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery management.- Maintain responsibility for technical quality and timely delivery of digital solutions.Qualifications Required:- 8-12 years of professional software engineering experience, with recent experience in leading small engineering teams.- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or similar, and backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as data modeling.- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
