Software Engineering Manager

As a Software Engineering Manager at Juvare, you will be responsible for leading 2-3 Agile teams of 12 Software Engineers and QA Engineers in designing, building, and supporting cloud-based SaaS applications hosted in AWS and Azure. Your role will involve guiding architectural discussions, driving adoption of best practices, ensuring on-time delivery of scalable solutions, and collaborating closely with global stakeholders.**Responsibilities:**- **Team Leadership & Development** - Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams in the Vijayawada office. - Set clear goals and manage performance through structured feedback and career development. - Lead hiring, onboarding, and career development initiatives. - Build a culture of accountability, quality, and ownership while driving retention and engagement.- **Technical & Delivery Leadership** - Guide architectural discussions and ensure sound engineering decisions. - Drive adoption of best practices in code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD. - Ensure on-time delivery of scalable, resilient SaaS solutions and collaborate with global Product Managers.- **Operational Excellence** - Establish structured on-call processes and incident response practices. - Improve reliability, deployment automation, and monitoring. - Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.**Qualifications:****Required Qualifications**- Bachelors degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems.- 7 years of full-stack web application development experience (Java and/or .Net, SQL, REST APIs).- 3 years of experience managing direct reports in an Agile environment.- Experience delivering SaaS products hosted in AWS and/or Azure.- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.**Preferred Qualifications**- Experience leading multiple Agile teams simultaneously.- Hands-on experience with TypeScript and ReactJS.- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud architecture.- Experience managing production support in high-availability systems.Please note that this position may require compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and may require U.S. person status verification.Juvare is deeply committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
