Software Engineering Manager (.Net & C)

Job Description

As a Software Engineering Manager at Ideagen, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a SaaS software engineering team. Your role involves leading and mentoring your team through the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with Product, UX, Infrastructure, and Engineering leadership to deliver roadmap milestones. Driving Agile practices and continuous improvement across ceremonies and workflows will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will oversee defect resolution, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines, while also shaping technical decisions and contributing to engineering best practices.**Qualifications Required:**- 10 years in software development, including 5 years with C#- Strong experience with C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS; React is a plus- Cloud-native development on Azure: app services, containers, microservices, APIs- DevOps experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes- Solid understanding of Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows- Familiarity with cyber security principles and OWASP Top 10- Relational database experience, preferably Azure SQL- 3 years in Agile methodologies (Scrum, etc.)- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills**Desirable Qualifications:**- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- Azure or Cloud qualifications such as AZ-900 and beyond- Cyber qualifications such as CEHIdeagen is the invisible force behind many things we rely on every day - from keeping airplanes soaring in the sky, to ensuring the food on our tables is safe, to helping doctors and nurses care for the sick.
