Our teams are diverse and work on various cutting-edge technologies such as information retrieval, artificial intelligence, distributed computing, and more.Key Responsibilities:- Set and communicate team priorities aligned with the organizations goals.- Establish clear expectations with team members and provide regular feedback and coaching.- Develop technical goals and roadmap for your team, adapting to future requirements and infrastructure needs.- Design and review system architectures within your domain and write code to address challenges.- Review code from other engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and efficiency.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.- 8 years of experience in software development with proficiency in programming languages like Python, C, Java, JavaScript.- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects, with 2 years in people management.- 3 years of experience in building tools to enhance development velocity and code quality.Preferred Qualifications:- Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.About the Company:Our companys Core team is dedicated to building the technical foundation for Googles flagship products.
