Job Description

Role Overview:As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes expertise at Cloudelligent, your primary responsibility is to design, build, and deploy complex cloud environments for clients using advanced automation tools and cutting-edge technologies. You will play a crucial role in setting up, maintaining, and enhancing AWS cloud architecture, as well as handling infrastructure monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and automation development.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a team of DevOps Engineers to architect, construct, and deploy redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining, and self-healing AWS cloud infrastructure.- Advocate for infrastructure as code and automation, leveraging tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, CircleCI, Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.- Design, develop, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure, encompassing clusters, namespaces, and deployments.- Independently work on projects with clients and stakeholders, gathering requirements and communicating new features and enhancements.- Enhance existing operational practices and procedures, ensuring compliance and security in operational infrastructure.- Mentor and train junior DevOps engineers and new team members.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in software/computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.- Proficiency in English language for effective communication.- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.- At least 4 years of experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, Gitlab, or similar).- Expertise in Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloudformation, CDK) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS, Rancher, etc.).- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible) and working with containers (Docker).- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or Javascript.- Self-driven with the ability to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision.Additional Details:Cloudelligent is an AWS Premier Consulting Partner specializing in modernizing, migrating, and innovating cloud solutions for organizations.
