As a Sr Expert in Management Accounting at Bayer, your role is crucial in ensuring complete, timely, and high-quality execution of Accounting Operations activities. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of financial statements, aligning with group standards and subgroup reporting requirements. By implementing best practices and ensuring SAP system design adherence to group and subgroup standards, you will play a vital role in meeting both local and global business steering needs.**Role Overview:**You will be responsible for the efficient execution of Accounting Operations activities, maintaining data quality, and ensuring SAP system setup compliance with group standards and divisional requirements. Additionally, you will provide support to sites for Product Accounting and Inventory Valuation, assisting in clarifying changes needed for variances in production orders and purchase prices.**Key Responsibilities:**- Ensure timely and complete execution of Accounting Operations activities- Support Product Accounting and Inventory Valuation topics for Legal Entities- Analyze the Income Statement in your area of responsibility- Support internal and external audit processes- Contribute to optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives- Monitor and actively contribute to achieving Service Levels of Accounting**Qualifications Required:**- University degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, or equivalent- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in General Accounting or related fields- Proficiency in SAP ERP FI/CO module- Strong understanding of global accounting and controlling processes- Excellent communication and analytical skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently- Fluency in English, other languages appreciated- Chartered Accountant and/or Cost Accountant certification (preferred)- Knowledge of Bayer Group accounting and reporting requirements (preferred)In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to engage in optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
