Job Description

As a Full Stack Engineer at AT&T, you will play a crucial role in architecting and building multi-tiered, fullstack, and distributed systems. Your main responsibilities will include:- Leading deep technical architecture discussions and development of POCs- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to create Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and guiding stakeholders to production deployment and operationalization- Utilizing knowledge of new and emerging technologies to design distributed and highly available performance solutions- Demonstrating strong Microsoft Azure Cloud experience- Achieving and delivering projects by building consensus in a complex and distributed environment- Conducting assessments and evaluations of existing implementations, providing recommendations for improvements- Ensuring the security, scalability, and maintainability of software products- Mentoring junior engineers to success- Supporting detailed documentation of systems and features- Acting as a liaison between external vendors and internal product, business, engineering, and design teams- Actively participating in coding exercises and peer code reviews as part of the development life cycles and change management- Participating in daily stand-up meetingsSkills and experience required for this role include:- Extensive full stack engineering experience with a minimum of 8 years- Strong experience with frontend/backend frameworks such as Java, C#, React, Node, Angular, Perl, PHP, Python, etc.- Engineering distributed applications within architectural scenarios such as Web and IoT- Knowledge of application design patterns and anti-patterns like MVC, CQRS, and/or SAGA- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, Mongo, etc.)- Experience with API platforms, API/workflow orchestration, application monitoring, and end-to-end telemetry- Familiarity with containers for packaging application deployment units and interacting with container-orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Service Fabric, Cloud Foundry- Defining CI/CD pipelines to automate test and release across different application environments using concepts like Blue/Green and Canary deployments and related technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Azure for DevOps)- Source code management using Git or other source control technologies- Knowledge of open-source technologies and frameworksQualifications required for this role:- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study- 7 years of experience in architecting and building multi-tiered, fullstack, and distributed systems- Technical or Professional Certification in Domain#SoftwareEngineeringAT&T is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.
