Role Overview:As a Warehouse Operations Manager at HouseOfMakeup.com, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end warehouse, inventory, retail, and fulfillment operations. Your role will involve ensuring smooth warehouse functioning, inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, process compliance, and operational excellence across various channels including retail, e-commerce, quick commerce, and B2B.Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation processes.- Monitor stock movements between warehouses, stores, and fulfillment centers.- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.- Maintain inventory KPIs including stock accuracy, inventory turnover, ageing inventory, stock-outs, and fill rates.- Drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce wastage, excess inventory, and holding costs.- Oversee order processing and fulfillment across B2B, B2C, E-commerce, and Quick Commerce channels.- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.- Manage last-mile delivery operations and third-party logistics service providers.- Ensure adherence to SLAs, customer commitments, and delivery timelines.- Monitor order accuracy and fulfillment performance metrics.- Manage stock replenishment activities.- Coordinate effectively with teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and operational support.- Analyze store inward and outward movements and resolve operational bottlenecks.- Ensure smooth execution of promotional campaigns, launches, and seasonal demand spikes.- Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse operations teams.- Develop manpower plans to meet operational requirements efficiently.- Drive performance management, productivity improvement, and employee development initiatives.- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and operational controls.- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization.- Maintain audit readiness and compliance with statutory and company policies.- Ensure supply chain operations meet all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.- Manage relationships with logistics partners, transporters, warehouse service providers, and key stakeholders.- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with third-party vendors.- Act as the primary point of contact for operational escalations and issue resolution.- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Customer Service, and Planning teams.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.- 5-8 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management within the FMCG, cosmetics, beauty, retail, or e-commerce industry.- Strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and hands-on operational expertise.- Experience in driving efficiency, productivity, and service excellence in warehouse operations.(Note: Any additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.)
