Academic Requirements:A completed academic M.S. / M. Tech/ B.S./ B.E./ B.Tech degree in mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Engineering from a premier institute.Required Skills:Expert programming skills and knowledge of C/ C++, and/ or Objective- C, MATLABDevelopment experience on Unix, Linux or iOS and OS X software technologiesAble to make a long term commitment of 2- 3years.Interest in microcontrollers, PLC, sensors, wireless communication, Computer VisionFamiliarity with path planning, motion planning, perception, vision systems, localization, mapping, control systemsFamiliarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)Knowledge in image processing e.g. filters, features/ descriptors, multi- camera calibration, epipolar geometry, disparity estimation, view synthesisExcellent software design, problem solving and debugging skillsStrong verbal and written communication and teamwork skillsAny prior experience of working with PIC, ARM, Atmel, Atmega processorsOrganised working, good and thorough documentation habitsResponsibilities:Develop hardware and software systems for a range of projectsDevelop engineering requirements, specification and validation criteriaInteract with sponsors for both planning and reporting purposesReport complex technical detail to specialists and non- specialistsMentor and support other engineersSurvey literature and implement state of the art techniques to solve challenging problemsDevelop, document, and direct software system testing, troubleshooting, and verification proceduresSupport manufacturing with hardware requirements, technology integration, and maintenance,
