To plan and control day to day production activities. To allocate jobs to production officers to meet daily targets. To ensure optimum production and productivity of the departments. To establish , lay down and implement various systems , SOPs and documentation as per current GMP systems. To develop and train subordinates to achieve desired performance levels. To look after maximum usage of capacities and preventive maintenance of plant and machinery. To prepare daily , weekly and monthly production reports and submit it to the Plant Manager. To co - ordinate with production , stores , maintenance and quality assurance departments daily to function smoothly and to fulfill requirements as per need and urgency. To take responsibility of quantity and quality produced of daily production. To assist quality assurance and / or Product development to standardize manufacturing processes and validate the same. To review batch documentation and cGMP documentation on daily basis. To review and verify the compliance to cGMP requirements and systems. To give training to subordinates and workmen in cGMP , SOPs and on job training. To establish discipline and team work in work force. To carry out self - Inspection as a member of Self - inspection team. To take responsibility of yields , final reconciliation of product and printed packing materials and scrap disposal from production area.
