. Accountant 3 We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Accountant 3. The role reports to the Finance Manager and will be part of the India Shared Service Center (ISSC) of Juniper Networks. Critical to the execution of this role is strong accounting knowledge, focus on continuous process improvements, strong multi-tasking and communication skills, being detail oriented and a team player. Duties & Responsibilities: Performing general ledger (GL) close activities and balance sheet reconciliations under US GAAP. Reviewing monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations. Similarly, a person in this role would review and sign off on manual journal entries. Actively participate in and drive SAP process improvements, automation projects (i.e. macros) and worldwide blackline management within the GL team. The expectation is that the candidate will use logical methods to solve problems with effective solutions as well as lead the team in implementing the same Work closely with other teams in resolving issues/ open items in reconciliations Sharing best practices and imparting knowledge to other team members on query resolution Technical Skills Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Strong accounting and balance sheet reconciliation background with a work experience of 3-5 years. Understands US GAAP requirements Experience in the GL function of a multinational enterprise and / intercompany accounting is an added advantage Extremely strong in MS suite applications - Excel, PowerPoint and outlook Personnel Skills: Must have strong analytical skills. We are looking for candidates who have strong leadership skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to partner effectively with global accounting teams to resolve issues, if any Ability to work effectively across time zones/ geographies and with key global stakeholders.,
