Job Description GENERAL SCOPE SUMMARY Responsible for a variety of duties involving financial data analysis , schedule preparation and financial statement preparation. Requires strong problem resolution and customer service skills , attention to detail , and an ability to utilize technical tools to analyze data and resolve issues. A strong understanding of accounting and the underlying end to end business processes is also required. Responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and/ or cost accounting functions. Documenting policieis and procedures and adherance to ensure internal controls are followed in compliance with Sarbanes- Oxley initiatives. Proactively seeking ways to continuously improve processes to achieve greater efficiencies and better controls. PRIMARY ROLES RESPONSIBILITES: Account reconciliations and account analysis Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations at month end Preparation of multi- currency bank reconciliations Process Intercompany Sales and purchase orders Assist in the preparation of Monthly Financial Reports , Annual Financial Statements and any other internal or external reports required , ensuring that they are completed in a timely , accurate , and efficient manner; Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS Knowledge of Accounting major ERP Systems experience is desirable NetSuite experience would be an advantage Ability to communicate complex information to external auditors , business partners and management. Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships. Gains exposure to more complex aspects of position , such as consolidation , financial statement analysis , elements of financial reporting schedules , etc. Demonstrated ability to learn. Ability to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems and contribute to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives. Ability to provide solutions to problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1 - 3 years of experience. Bachelors degree in relevant field. Ability to pass a background check may also be required. Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time.
